Gary Shelton Blaine, 83, of Quincy, died Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born July 29, 1942, in Lewis County, a son of the late Calvin Thomas and Guyneth Armstrong Blaine.
He retired from the Coca-Cola Company after 26 years of service and was a member of St. Paul Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, listening to bluegrass music, attending antique car shows, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include one son, Gary (Gail) Blaine of Quincy; two stepsons, Edward Sabourin of Allegan, Michigan, and David Sabourin of Mt. Morris, Michigan; five grandchildren, Jessica Sabourin Todd, Samantha Sabourin Smith, Joshua Sabourin, Isaac (Jada) Blaine, and Conor (Cecilia) Blaine; and many other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Nancy Budwit Blaine; one sister, Hildreth Polston; and one brother, Marty Blaine.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison with Bro. Tom Logan and Bro. Larry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Greene Cemetery at St. Paul.
Visitation will be after 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Isaac Blaine, Conor Blaine, Aaron Polston, Gary Blaine, Aaron Kuhner, and Michael Ratliff.
