Brandon Patrick Clark, 45, of Mason County, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, at his home following an extended illness.
Brandon was born October 9, 1980, a son of Patty Thompson and the late Randy Clark. He graduated from Mason County High School in 1999.
Brandon was an accomplished cook whose kitchen skills rivaled those of a professional. He was devoted to his family and friends and known for his loyalty.
Brandon is survived by his mother and stepfather, Patty and Bill Thompson of Mason County; one sister, Rachael Elliott of Mason County; one brother, Christian McAdams of Mason County; one stepsister, Tracy (Eric) Clark of South Carolina; one stepbrother, Kelly (Morgan) Thompson of Georgetown; two nieces, Vanessa Gentry of Michigan and Roni McAdams of Mason County; his companion of 20 years, Kelly Wallingford Clark of Tennessee; one stepdaughter, Jaclyn (Jack) Killingsworth of Tennessee; two stepsons, Wesley Evans and Griffin Evans of Tennessee; two very special grandchildren, Evan and Paige Killingsworth of Tennessee; two uncles, Tony and Michael Elliott of Vanceburg; and his fat cat, Missy.
In addition to his father, Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry and Flora Hyrne Clark, and his maternal grandparents, Alva and Olive Evans Elliott.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg.
