Lillian Doris Toller Rose, 90, of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Hospice of Hope in Maysville, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lewis County on October 3, 1935, a daughter of the late Willard and Blanche Moore Toller.
Lillian was a Christian and a lifelong farmer. She loved her chickens, working in her flower garden, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and listening to Danny Blankenship on the radio.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Cunningham of Vanceburg; one son, Michael Allen (Irene) Rose of Vanceburg; one brother, Leo Toller of Vanceburg; two grandchildren, Jason Cunningham and Tiffany Wilson; four great-grandchildren, McKenzie Cunningham, Raelynn Wilson, Emmaleigh Wilson, and Samuel Wilson; and a daughter-in-law, Peggy Rose of Vanceburg. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Harold Rose; one son, Jack Rose; and one brother, Lee Toller.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends may visit after Noon Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Dickerson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be David Goodwin, Johnny Kegley, Billy Kegley, Cole Kegley, Logan Kegley, and Marlin Kegley.
