Anita Carol Stanfield Walker, 85, of Tollesboro, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
She was born in Mason County on May 22, 1940, a daughter of the late Estill and Rena Francis Hughes Stanfield.
Anita was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed caring for her home and treasured time spent dining out, shopping, and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Edgar Boyd Walker; two daughters, Kim Hord of Tollesboro and Jackie Walker of Dover; one brother, Frank Stanfield of Burtonville; two grandchildren, Amanda Fogleman and Bryan Hord; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Hord and Mila Hord. Many other family members and friends will also sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Thomas, and three brothers, Don Stanfield, Darrell Stanfield, and Ricky Stanfield.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. David Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Garden of Memories in Mason County.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Frank Stanfield, Gary Mason, Bryan Hord, Bub Ruggles, Mark Fogleman, Robbie Stanfield, and Johnny Hord.
