Joyce Ann Linville Garrett, 81, of Maysville, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026, at her home. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Joyce was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 30, 1944, a daughter of the late Perry W. and Judy Mullikin Linville.
She was a member of Tollesboro Christian Church for over 30 years. She enjoyed attending worship services and Bible study, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa (Tim) Sexton of Maysville; a son, Jeff Garrett of Maysville; two sisters, Nancy Hettle of Mt. Orab, Ohio, and Donna Justice of Milford, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brandon Lee Pollitt, Joshua Dane Howell, Reno Patrick Garrett, and Tyler Sexton; and four great-grandchildren, Mya Dawn Howell, Laken Grey Pollitt, Lillie Kate Pollitt, and Case Lee Pollitt. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Donny Ray Garrett, and one brother, Fred Wayne Linville.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Olivet Cemetery in Mason County with Bro. Layne Wagner officiating.
The funeral procession will begin lining up at 1:00 p.m. at Tollesboro Funeral Home and depart at 1:30 p.m. for Olivet Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Garrett, Tim Sexton, Reno Garrett, Tyler Sexton, Brandon Pollitt, and Bill Snapp.
